How to use your face serum

Skin serums can really supercharge your daily routine - but what serum should you be using and how can you get the most from it?

Skin serums can really supercharge your skincare routine. The high concentration of active ingredients in a serum penetrate deep into the skin which is why serums are great at targeting specific skincare concerns.

Serums should be applied after cleansing but before moisturising both morning and night. It’s an extra step in your routine, but one not to miss. Packed full of moisturising ingredients (for example hyaluronic acid), a serum isn’t a moisturiser in the traditional sense. The small molecular weight of serums ensures they penetrate deeply and quickly. A traditional moisturiser is really rich and creates a barrier on top of the skin keeping which is why a serum should be applied before.

But which skin serum is right for you? We’ve created our serums with high performance bio-actives and ingredients that target skin concerns. See below to discover the best serum for you:

For Instant Hydration

If your skin is dehydrated and in need of plumping, you need to look for a serum with Hyaluronic Acid. Our Tri-Molecular Hyaluronic Serum contains three pioneering forms of natural Hyaluronic Acid to penetrate deep into your skin to hydrate and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This powerful but soothing serum also contains Aloe Vera to reduce inflammation, Chamomile Water to calm sensitivity and Yarrow to soothe irritated skin while reducing redness.

Simply smooth one full dropper of serum onto your damp, cleansed face, neck and chest. Once absorbed, follow with your moisturiser and SPF.

For Brighter Skin

For bright, healthy looking skin, Vitamin C is the powerhouse ingredient you need. When using daily it can help to brighten dull skin, even out skin tone, counter sun damage, and protect from pollution.

Our award-winning Vitamin C Repair Serum contains a stabilised vitamin c which incorporates an enzyme that releases the ingredient throughout the day. This effective delivery into the skin helps to reduce the production of melanin which causes dark spots. We’ve also included Melavoid, a powerful bio-active ingredient extracted from the Boerhaavia Diffuse root to even out skin tone and reduce dark spots.

Use a pea sized amount both morning and evening after cleansing and before moisturising. You must use an SPF in the day.

For Calming Congestion

To target blemish prone skin, you need a serum that soothes, hydrates and kills bacteria. Our Congested Skin Serum is known as the ‘on the spot’ soothing gel thanks to the powerful natural ingredients that balance out your skin for a clearer complexion. Spruce Knot purifies and helps to balance oil production, while Kanuka Oil is a potent anti-microbial and anti-bacterial ingredient to clear congestion. Eucalyptus calms redness and inflammation without drying or irritating your skin.

Apply on targeted spots, or over a larger area.
